First of all, even though I do have a little broadcasting experience, I’m just a fellow seeker of truth and a way to make a better world.  I’ve lived a little life now and have my own opinions about how things should be.  I’m not one of those talk show hosts who blow hard and claim to have all the answers. 

I’m a Californian who grew up in the Silicon Valley before it was called Silicon Valley.  When I was a kid, it was the valley of the harvest moon, and we picked apricots in the summers.  And I’ve watched and participated in Silicon Valley becoming what it is.  I’ve been a part of 5 start up companies, have worked with large publicly held companies, have consulted to many more. 

And, like many of you, I’ve been knocked back on my ear a time or two by the economy.  I’ve worn a lot of hats, from engineer, to CEO, to waiter and valet – yes, in that sequence, with a few steps in between.  Sometimes you have to do what ever it takes to keep the roof over your family’s heads.  So if you’re going through hard times, I really do understand.  And that’s why the news, to me and to you, is not just a bunch of facts and figures.  It’s the world we live in, and it affects our lives.
